Teresa Walker

Teresa Sue Franks Walker, 50, of Whitney passed away on July 4, 2011.

Funeral Services will be Friday, July 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Rev. Greg Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Whitney Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday at Marshall & Marshall in Whitney.

Teresa was born on January 13, 1961 in Whitney; the daughter of Vernon (Jeff) and Peggy West Franks. She graduated from Whitney High School in 1979 and in 1980, she married Jerry Walker. For several years, she worked for Goodwill Industries and was proud that she was licensed to drive a fork lift. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Whitney.

Preceding her in death were her father, Jeff Franks; sister, Pam Franks Meador and brother, Randy Franks.

Survivors include her mother, Peggy of Whitney; children, Jerry Walker, Jr. and wife, Amanda of Longview, Alicia Walker of Whitney; brother, Michael Franks of Whitney. She was very proud of her grandbabies, Slayde Walker, Gavin Walker, Clohe Walker, Tommy Goad, Bryton Akridge and Jaydon Akridge.
