Terri Sue Redman, 60, of Whitney, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Mr. Terry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Whitney Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Terri was born on November 9, 1957, in Brownsville, the daughter of Buddy Hughes and Shirley Leary. She grew up and lived the majority of her life in Hill County. During her working career, she held several jobs in the local area. For the last few years she had been disabled. These years were filled with raising two sons as well as two nephews and caring for her mother, Shirley. Her greatest joy was raising these boys as well as several of her grandchildren. During her life, she established many friendships which remained with her throughout her life.
She found joy in family, friends and occasionally fishing.
Terri Sue was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Roberts; two sons, Charles Hughes and wife, Cristi and Johnny Neagle and wife, Amy; a sister, Belinda Taylor; brothers, Johnny Hughes and Jimmy Hughes; grandchildren, Allyissa Neagle, Dalton Neagle, Brianna Horn, Jessica Hughes, Camey Hughes, Sylissa Hughes, Nikki Hughes and Chase Hughes; great-grandchildren, Joslyn Wilson, Skylar Hughes, Edwin Hebert III, Sophia Hebert, Landon Hebert, and Bentley Hebert; nieces and nephews, Christy Camron, Jason Hughes, Jimmy Hughes, Jr., and Jonathan, Hughes.
