Terrie Turpen

Terrie Turpen, age 82, of Glen Rose, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in Arlington. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney, Texas with Pastor Bill French officiating. A visitation will be held from Noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Terrie was born August 13, 1936 in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of John B. and Thrisa (Clifton) Davis. She married James A. Turpen December 31, 1979 and he preceded her in death on January 29, 1990. She is also preceded by her parents; five brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her children, Talitha Collins of Arlington, Ralph Logan Patterson of Joshua and Clifton Glissen of Brownsville; sister, Virginia Newkirk of Weatherford; grandchildren, Rhianon Kelley and Emilleo Lopez; great grandchildren, Alyssa Kelley and Richard Kelley; great great granddaughter, Jocelyn Jackson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
