Terry Wolfe

Terry B. Wolfe, 67, of Hillsboro passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013, in Hillsboro. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, at First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro with High Priest James L. Williams and Rev. Mark Hinchcliff officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:30-7:00 p.m. Thursay prior to the service at the church.

Terry was born June 28, 1945 in Estherville, Iowa to Watson B. and Carolyn (Sharp) Wolfe. Following graduation from Estherville High School in 1964, he joined the United States Navy and served two tours in Vietnam.

Following his military service, Terry went on to receive his BA in Computer Science from Coleman College. For 28 years he worked for AT&T. On May 17, 1987, he married Julia E. Lowry in Lake Tahoe, California.

A caring and loving person to everyone, Terry took an interest in many things especially photography, airplanes, and old cars. He was a Christian by faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Julia E. Wolfe of Hillsboro; two children, Susan Lettington of Hillsboro and Paul Lettington and wife, Nan, of Des Moines, Iowa; brother, Kenneth Wolfe and wife, Sue, of Antioch, Illinois; sister, Ginger Kline of Estelline, South Dakota; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jann and Bill Sutton of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Alicia Stone of California and Levi Lettington of Hillsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
