Theda Wooten Lambert, 57, of Hillsboro died Friday, August 10, 2007, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Theda was born April 30, 1950 in Hillsboro, where she was raised, the daughter of Lonnie Lee, Jr. and Mozelle Harper Wooten. She graduated from Hillsboro High School. While in high school, she was majorette for the high school band and played in the band and the stage band. Following high school, she lived in Waxahachie and Arizona among other places before moving back to Hillsboro in 1977. She worked for The Reporter as a typesetter, proofer, and graphic artist, and graduated from Hill College in 1996. Following college, she also worked as a Spanish tutor. Theda loved animals, working with flowers, and gardening. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her father; two nephews, Ricky and Donnie Neagle; and a brother-in-law, Travis Harris. Survivors include two daughters, Angela Caldwell and husband, Royden, of Eureka, Montana and Nancy Whittington and husband, Charlie, of Hillsboro; mother, Mozelle Wooten of Hillsboro; two sisters, Nancy Harris of Montgomery and Ronnee Neagle of Hillsboro; brother, Lonnie Lee Wooten, III and wife, Joyce, of Austin; three grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth Caldwell of Eureka, Montana, Hannah Grace Whittington of Hillsboro, RayLee Brooke Whittington of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
