Thelma Dobbins

Thelma Lucille Dobbins passed away on September 26, 2008 in Hillsboro. She was the daughter of W. Wylie and Lena Marie Caldwell Hudson Smith. After living in Dallas, she moved to Whitney, Texas in 1969. Thelma was a homemaker, member of First Baptist Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #8571 in Whitney. Thelma married Glenn Alvin Dobbins February 6, 1946. and he preceded her in death on January 13, 1987. She was also preceded in death by brother Cecil Smith and sister Marie Hill. Survivors include her daughter, Anita Stone and husband, Earnest of Mesquite, Texas, sister-in-law, Bobbie Smith of Whitney, three nieces, Rhonda, Renea and Debra Kay.
