Thera Burnett

Thera was born on January 23, 1935 in Mena, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy Masters Bain. She moved to Dallas in 1965 from Mena where she raised her family. Thera worked as a legal secretary until retirement in 2000. She moved to Whitney in 2003 to become a resident of Town Hall Estates. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors: children, James Burnett and wife Barley Vogiel of Dallas, Karen Turner and husband David of the Canyons on Lake Whitney, Michael Burnett and wife Cindy of Houston; brothers, Darrell Bain and wife Betty of Conroe, Gary Bain and wife Barbara of Oklahoma City, OK, Michael Bain and wife Linda of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Karla Kelley and husband Lewis of Shreveport, LA, Jacie Thompson of Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren, Jessica Stephenson of Stephenville, Caroline Burnett, Emily Burnett and John Burnett all of Houston.
