Thomas William Cuttill

Thomas William Cuttill, was born to Donald and Beverly Cuttill on February 28th 1958 in Willow Springs Illinois.

Tom was raised by his Mother Beverly Sauer and Stepfather Robert Sauer and Father Donald Cuttill and Stepmother Pauline Cuttill.  You could say he got a double portion of raisin’ in those days.  Tom attended St Barbara’s elementary in Brookfield Illinois.  He also attended St. Joseph, Hinsdale Central High School.

Tom moved to Texas in 1976 where he met the love of his life, Vickie.   When he was on the road as a Truck Driver he wrote her post cards as he drove all over the country telling her of his love and how he would soon be home to her.  Their children were their pride and they loved each of them dearly.  There was nothing they enjoyed more than being together as a family.  They were married for 32 beautiful years until the good Lord called Vickie to heaven with Him.

Tom had many things he loved to do and if he wasn’t taking the first selfie known to man on his many roadside stops you could find him fishing, hunting, collecting knives, guns, and swords. He also liked computer programming and photography.  There was nothing that got in the way of Him and watching the Cowboys with Dylan, spending time with his kids.  But if you wanted to see his eyes sparkle and that smile get as big as a Cheshire cat just listen to one of his grandkids call him Paw-paw, Red pawpaw, or one of us holler dad.

He drove a truck for over 40 years and this last Thursday made his final drive home to be with God and his love Vickie.

Tom William Cuttill is preceded by: his wife Vickie; parents Beverly and Rob Sauer and Donald and Pauline Cuttill; his –in-laws Bill and Angie Thompson; his brother-in-law David Allen.

The family will be doing a small memorial at a later date
