Thomas Gene Knight

Thomas Gene Knight, age 78, of Hillsboro passed away in Cleburne, Texas on July 31, 2021. Visitation will be on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Pastor Paul Calaway officiating, with a burial following at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro.

Thomas was born on June 6, 1943, in Brownwood, Texas to William and Pauline (Hanks) Knight. He loved fishing and watching his grandkids play football. Thomas was an appliance repairman for over 35 years in the Whitney area. He loved helping people.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Knight.

Thomas is survived by his sons; James Knight and wife, Melissa and, Dean Knight; grandchildren, Evan, Tristan, Taylor, Connor, Jason, Morgan and Madison.
