Tina Biggers

Tina Biggers-McAlister, 89, of Dallas died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at the Retirement Inn in Dallas. Tina was born May 8, 1919 in Corsicana, where she grew up, the daughter of John Berry and Lena Wooten Burks. In May 1946 she married Boyd Red Biggers and he preceded her in death in 1973. During WWII she worked as a riveter in airplane manufacturing. She later married Buster McAlister in April 1987 and he preceded her in death in July 2005. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Laura Davis White. Survivors include a nephew, Jerry White, of Dallas; and two nieces, Janie Thompson and Wanda Anderson-Cowen both of Dallas.
