Tom Buckbee

Biography

Tom Buckbee, 75, of Whitney, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014, at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014, at 2:00 PM, at the China Spring Cemetery in China Spring.

Tom grew up in McGregor and then moved to Grand Prairie. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. For many years, he worked as a machinist before he moved to Avinger to run a campgrounds. Tom then moved to Waco and China Spring area and has lived in Whitney for the last 15 years. Preceding him in death were three sisters, Elisia, Loretta and younger sister, Betty.

He is survived by daughters; Becky McGee and husband, Nathan of Burleson; Anita Eudy and husband, Ray of Arlington; and Lorraine Peruchi of Grand Prairie; sister, Audie Whitman of Waco; 5 grandchildren, Stefanie Kammerer, Thomas Buckbee, Denton Peruchi, Andru Peruchi and Dustin Peruchi; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
