Tom Cleveland

Tom was the son of John C. and Dewey Campbell Cleveland. Growing up in Hillsboro, he graduated from Hillsboro High School and Hillsboro Junior College before attending Baylor University in Waco. During World War II, Tom served in the U. S. Army in the Pacific theater. After his military service, he returned to Hillsboro where he married Catherine Renfro on June 1, 1949. The couple moved to Fort Worth in the late 1960's where Tom worked for Bell Helicopter until retiring in 1988. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the VFW. Preceding Tom in death were his parents and a brother and sister. Pallbearers for the service include Jerry Clements, Troy Goodman, Paul Patterson, Omar Keeton, Billy Joe Davis, Joseph Morris, Donald Wayne Neagle, and Christopher Earl. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Austin Pope, Tanner Pope, Hunter Pope, Jeffery Stewart, and James Aldric Morris.
