Tommie Wooldridge

Tommie Ann Wooldridge, 95, of Hillsboro passed from this life on Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro with Rev. Paul Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Tuesday prior to service at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Tommie was born November 24, 1915 in Malone the daughter of Thomas and Ethel (Whiteaker) Collier. When she was a small child, her parents died and she grew up in the home of her grandparents, Tom and Laura Collier of Malone. She attended schools in the Malone area. On August 20, 1932 she married Blondell Wooldridge and he preceded her in death on February 9, 1986. She was a life long resident of Hill County and lived in Hillsboro for 50 plus years. On June 17, 1949 she became a faithful member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Hillsboro.

Survivors include several cousins and a host of friends.
