Tommy Luttrell

Tommy Luttrell, 82, of Whitney passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at a local nursing home. Tommy was the son of Vernon and Lura Pearl Reed Luttrell. He grew up in Dallas and served in the United States Army during World War II. He married Charlsie Johnson on February 22, 1947 in Dallas and she preceded him in death on November 20, 2002. He managed movie houses in several Texas cities; retiring after 20 years working with the Bowie Theater in Fort Worth in 1975. After retiring he lived in Whitney since 1975. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and a member of VFW Post 8571. He was also preceded in death by his parents and brother, Vernon Lee Luttrell. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund, Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Whitney, TX.
