Tommy Monk

Tommy Jay Monk, 54, of Whitney died Tues. Oct. 2, 2007 in Whitney. He was born on June 5, 1953 in Mason City, Iowa. to J. W. and Jo Neta Chancellor Monk. He grew up in DeSoto, TX. On Nov. 14, 1974 he married Rita Murdock. He worked as a truck driver for Night Hawk Oil Field Services. He loved classic rock and photography as well as being an avid collector of Coke bottles and marbles. He attended the Open Range Cowboy Church. Preceding him in death were his parents.
