Travis Herring

Travis passed away on Sunday, March 16 at a Fort Worth Hospital. He was born June 29, 1941, son of Houston and Delma Gravitt Herring. On May 14, 1978, he married Kelly Cushman in Arlington and had been married for 30 years. He was of the Baptist faith, loved to garden and spent many hours giving his grandchildren rides on his tractor. He liked to garden and loved to sing and pick his guitar. He was a carpenter by trade. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Raby. Survivors include his wife, Kelly; five children, Travis Dee Herring and wife, D'Laine of Scurry, Mary Lisa McGlathery of Fort Worth, Adrian Polk and Lisa of Blum, and Varina Green and Paul and Mary Lou Hernandez and Phillip all of Arlington; one brother, Bill Herring and Glenda of Arlington; one sister, Mildred Wall and Norman of Blum; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
