Vera Arnold

Vera Granny Arnold, 91, of Fort Worth and formerly of Whitney passed away on June 15, 2009. Vera was born on June 28, 1917 in Alexandria, Louisiana, the daughter of the late William Hamilton and Bessie Estelle Simms Hatch. On December 22, 1966 she married William Ernest Arnold in Fort Worth and he preceded her in death on August 12, 1976. Vera always had the most perfect and clean home and loved all her granddogs and cat. She enjoyed sitting outside and drinking coffee. She was very much loved by all of her family and friends. Vera was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Whitney. Also preceding her in death were two sisters and one brother. Survivors: children, Glenda Jones and husband, Bill of Fort Worth, Charles David Wagnon and wife, Susie of Buna; brother, Edward Hatch of Port Arthur; 5 grandchildren, Cindy Reid and husband, Wayland of Arlington, Crystal Harris and husband, Jeff of Fort Worth, Carmanda Jones of Fort Worth, Charles David Wagnon, III and wife, Renae of Kingwood, Wesley Wagnon of Louisiana; 6 great grandchildren, Jordain Reid of Arlington, Samuel, Bradley, James , Amelia Wagnon all of Kingwood and Brek Wagnon of Kansas Memorials: American Diabetes Association, 4150 International Plaza, Suite 125, Fort Worth, Texas 76109
