Veronica Sue Barnard

Veronica Sue Barnard, 33, of Itasca, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas.  Funeral Services will take place at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, with burial to follow at the Itasca Cemetery.  Visitation will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday, September 26, 2022, at Marshall and Marshall.

Veronica was born January 26, 1989, to William Dale and Kelly Nichole (Collins) Barnard, in Clifton, Texas.  She enjoyed baking and cooking and was passionate about caring for children.  Veronica worked as a server at IHOP Restaurant.  Her final act of kindness came in the form of saving the lives of others through organ donation.

Preceded in death by her father, she is survived by her mother; her husband, Rudy Chavez; her children, Haylin Brooke Barnard, Aiden Alexander Chavez, Angelica Nichole Chavez, and Tyler McKay Barnard; her mother, Kelly Nichole Barnard; her sister, Casa Nichole Johns and her husband Kyle; mother-in-law, Angelica Chavez; father-in-law, Luis Chavez; sisters in law, Cielo Chavez and Linda Rodriguez; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
