Veronica Sanchez

Veronica Sanchez, age 49, of Hillsboro, TX left this world peacefully sleeping in her home Wednesday morning May 27th, 2020. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated June 1st, 2020, on Monday morning at 10 AM, at ‘Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church’ in Hillsboro, with Father Ouseph Thekkumthala a celebrant. The rosary will be held Sunday evening on May 31st, 2020, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel. Visitation will follow until 9:00pm

Veronica was born in San Pedro de las Colonias Coahuila, Mexico on July 12th, 1970. She is the daughter of Adan Sanchez & Juana Sanchez. In her younger years Veronica should often be remembered dancing in those “tight” Jordache jeans, or show stopping in her bangles listening to her favorite band “Menudo”. We all share our own experiences with Veronica through different times in her life and we should all cherish those memories.

In her later years she Veronica was more than appreciative of all the wonderful moments she was given with her grandson Roman Izayah, who she completely adored with every fiber in her body. He truly changed Grammy V’s world. As well as the summers she spent in Oklahoma City. Being nursed back to health by her caretaker, her protector, Tobi.

She is survived by her father Adan Sanchez, her siblings Alfredo Sanchez, Eva Sanchez-Torres, Albert Sanchez, and Elizabeth Sanchez. Along with her daughters Brittany Nicole Sanchez, Claudia Evette Sanchez, and Mercedes Tatyana Sanchez. As well as grandson Roman Izayah Sanchez.

Preceding her in death is her mother, Juana Sanchez.

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, there are restrictions set in place.The church will only be allowing 100 people inside, no immediate family must sit at a minimum of three feet apart and is mandatory to wear a face mask to enter. If you would like to pay your respects to Veronica, feel free to send flowers to her family, or plant a tree in her memory, and please do not hesitate to visit her.
