Victor Garcia

Victor Garcia, 15, of Itasca passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro.  Funeral services will be held at Noon on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at the family’s home, 405 North King Street, Itasca, TX 76055.  Burial will follow at Itasca Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, at the family’s home and last all day. Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro are in charge of arrangements.

Victor was born May 16, 2005, in Hillsboro to Bernardo, Sr., and Leticia Garcia.  He was raised in Itasca, where he was currently a sophomore at Itasca High School.  He participated in football, track, cross country, soccer, and powerlifting.  Victor enjoyed dancing and wanted to own his own barber shop one day.  He was of the Catholic faith.

Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Bernardo Garcia.

Survivors include his parents, Bernardo, Sr., and Leticia Garcia; brothers, Bernardo Garcia , Jr., and Brucelee Garcia; sisters, Yadakzy Garcia and Yakziry Garcia; grandmothers, Concepcion Castillo and Paula Huerta; grandfather, Victor Garcia; and step-grandfather, David Baez.
