Victoria Lee (Brumbaugh) Geltmeier

Victoria Lee Geltmeier passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024, in Arlington after a long battle with COPD. A memorial service will take place at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Vickie was born November 19, 1948, in Joplin, Missouri, to Vere Les and Dora Lee Brumbaugh. At the age of ten, she and her parents moved to Texas. Vickie graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1967. She attended Hill Junior College where she met her future husband, Billy Wayne Geltmeier. Vickie attended Sul Ross University in Alpine and Our Lady of the Lake College in San Antonio. She married Billy Wayne in Liberty, Texas on March 9, 1971. Billy and Vickie settled in Arlington where she worked in the healthcare industry until retirement. Her passions were her grandchildren, fishing, playing bingo and attending Neil Diamond concerts.

She is survived by her husband, Billy; her son, Chris and his wife, Tammy, of Corinth; three grandchildren, Garrett and Maxine Geltmeier, of Corinth, Trevor and Jessica Geltmeier, of Argyle, and Brynleigh Geltmeier, of Corinth; and four great-grandchildren.
