Virginia Boswell

Virginia Jane McCown Boswell, 83 of Brenham and formerly of Whitney passed away on March 30, 2010 in Brenham. Jane was born on April 8, 1926 in Whitney to the late Tal and Vera McCown. She had lived in Whitney most of her life. On December 17, 1948 she married H. A. Cutter Boswell in Mc Allen, TX. She was of the Southern Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cutter, son George and brother, Walter McCown. Survivors include her son, Ott Boswell of Whitney, daughter, Bette Rothermel of Chapel Hill; brother, Robert McCown and wife Naimi of Houston; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
