Virginia Dutton

Virginia Dare Meadows Dutton, 94, joined her loved ones and peacefully entered into rest Sunday, July 2, 2006, in Fort Worth. Virginia was born on May 24, 1912 in Alvarado, Texas, to Bill and Sally Banks Meadows, and was the youngest of 9 children. She married Relly Reed "R.R." Dutton in June of 1927, and enjoyed 55 years of marriage until his death in 1982. She was a sweet, gentle lady who will be missed by us all. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, James Lloyd "Jerry" Dutton in January of 2006, her daughter-in-law, Nancy, in 2002, and her grandson, James Nathan "Nate" Dutton, in 2003. Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughter, Dana Dutton Brown and her husband, Jerry; her grandson, Ben Reed Dutton and his wife, Cheryl, and their children, Dakota Dutton and Robby Del Val, all of Fort Worth, and several nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to extend its thanks to the Richland Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their professional and loving care to Virginia over the last two and a half years.
