Virginia Ann (Harlin) Mcintosh

Virginia Ann (Harlin) McIntosh, age 87 passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at her residence in Whitney. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Abiding Life Full Gospel Church in Whitney with Pastor Curtis McGehee officiating. A burial will follow at the New Woodbury Cemetery in Woodbury. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney.

Virginia was born April 21, 1937, in Whitney, Texas to Dalmer and Sally Kay (Bolton) Harlin. She met Clyde, her beloved husband, through his cousin and married on July 10th, 1954.  They raised six children in Dallas, Texas. Her beautiful legacy and unwavering faith in God will forever be cherished in the lives of her children. Virginia never met a stranger. Her quick wit and fun-loving personality brought so much love and laughter to her family and friends. Her Abiding Life church family was very dear to her heart.

Preceded in death by her husband, Clyde McIntosh; daughter, Dorinda Kumpe; son, Darrell McIntosh; father, Dalmer Harlin; mother, Sally K. Bolton-Harlin; and brother, Bob Harlin.

Virginia is survived by her sister, Jane Harlin-Dickerson; children, Carol Manery McIntosh, George and Patricia McIntosh, Terri and Glenn Luttrell, and Doug McIntosh;  sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great grandchildren.
