W. T. was born on June 21, 1922 in Fort Worth; the son the late Leroy and Odette McCown Weeks. He grew up and lived most of his life in Fort Worth. As a young man he was a member of the 3C's program where he learned most of his construction skills that he used in building nearly every house he ever lived in. He married his wife of 67 years and 10 months, Crystal Hathcock on January 24, 1942. He joined the Army in 1942 and served in the South Pacific. He was a master carpenter and general contractor his whole life and was an avid fisherman. He loved to fish Lake Whitney. W. T. was a member of the Church of Christ. His brother, Leroy Weeks preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Crystal of Azle; children, Tommy Weeks and wife, Jerry Kay of Arlington, Judy Kirby and husband, Tommy of Haslet, Michael Ray Weeks and wife, Angela of Arlington; brother, Charles Weeks and wife, Peggy of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Margaret Wise of Fort Worth, Mary Hess of Fort Worth; sister-in-law, Violet Weeks of Beaumont; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
