Wallace Martin

Wallace Lee Martin, 82, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Homestead Nursing & Rehabilitation in Hillsboro. Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Wallace was born February 29, 1932 in Eureka, California to Alford Lee and Martha Matilda (Cornell) Martin. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife of over 55 years, Esther Martin, on March 20, 2014.

Survivors include his son, William Wesley Martin and wife, Cathy, of Milford; one brother; one sister; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors, P. O. Box 410, Hillsboro, TX 76645 to help with funeral expenses.
