She was blessed with twenty-four great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren: as well as her brother Charles Overton and wife Eileen and sister Celia” Polly” Caperton all of Whitney and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chesley Jerome Auten in February 2012; her parents Jesse and Toni Overton; a brother, Jesse (Shine) Overton; and sisters, Senneth Raye Epps, Joyce "Sue" Brown and June Carmichall.
Her family wishes to express their most grateful appreciation to the staff of Town Hall for providing her with such love and care for the past many years.
