Wanda Bush

Wanda Bubba Bush, 83, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Park Plaza Nursing Home. Ms. Bush was born March 31, 1924 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Lelia Robertson & C.W. Barton. She fell in love and married Jack Bush, February 24, 1944, in Liberal, Kansas, he was a WWII veteran. Wanda and Jack resided in Grand Prairie until retiring to the Lake Whitney area in the early ??70s. Wanda will always be remembered for her smiling face, caring ways, and loving spirit. She was a friend beyond the meaning of the word and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was the pride and joy of her Park Plaza family, who cherished her special ways and sharing spirit; a special thanks to all the staff at Park Plaza. Bubba?s hobby was gardening. She was happiest when she could be in her yard tending her plants. She loved roses and anything ?flowers?. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Jack and her brother Milton. She is survived by her sisters, Katherine Speers of Red Oak, Texas and Peggy Wariner of Grand Prairie, Texas, sister-in-law Marguerite McLaughlin of Oregon and brother-in-law Lawrence Bush of Weatherford, Texas, many nieces and nephews; and also by her caring and loving friends Jerry and Linda Ellis and their family and friends who adopted Bubba many years ago.
