Wanda Crowell

Wanda Crowell, 78, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Wanda was born August 29, 1928 in Irene, Texas the daughter of Hubert and Grace Carroll Hoyle. She grew up in Frost and moved to Abbott in 1941. On November 29, 1947 she married Bob Crowell. She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ in Hillsboro and a homemaker. Preceding her in death were her parents. Survivors include her husband, Bob Crowell of Hillsboro; children, Leah Ferguson and husband, Hugh, of Hillsboro, Carla Garrett of Hillsboro, and Keith Crowell and wife, Carla, of Cleburne; brothers, Wendell Hoyle and wife, Jo Ann, of Hillsboro and Larry Hoyle and wife, Emelee, of Granbury; sisters, Nita Watson of Hillsboro and Donna Smith and husband, Jim, of Waco; grandchildren, William Ferguson, Karen Kuehler, Lori Garrett, Jessica Simon, Melanie Garrett, Courtney Nelson, and Josh Crowell; and great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jay, Westley, Breanna, and Emily. Memorials may be made to the charity of one?s choice.
