Wanda Harris

Wanda Mae Harris, 62, of Whitney, Texas, passed away on June 3, 2013 at her residence after a 14 month battle with pancreatic cancer. A Celebraton of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney with Dr. Gerald Dudley and Reverend Terry Gayle officiating. Lunch will be served after the service.

She was born on October 21, 1950, in Baird, Texas, to Rollie Bain (R.B.)Cunningham and Lura Gertrude Cunniningham Riffe. Her father preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Harris; daughters Gena Kay Moore and husband, Kenneth Dean and Amber Tiwater and husband Tommy; son, William Roger Heard and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Justin Dean Moore, Jason Allen Moore, Thomas Kelley Tiwater, Cody Jay Tiwater, Ty Cutter Tiwater, and Anjelica Tiwater, Jasmine Heard, Caylea Heard, Kayla Heard and Ashley Heard; mother Lura Gertrude Cunningham Riffe; brothers Charlie Eugene Cunningham and Roger Neal Cunningham; and sister Martha Jane Cunningham.

The family would like to thank everyone involved with helping them through this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a memorial fund and checks may be sent to the Wanda Harris Memorial Fund, 203 Pinewood Trail, Forney, TX 75126.
