Wanda Lee Mcgrath

Wanda Lee McGrath, 59, of Red Oak, TX passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at her home with family.  Private family services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

Wanda was born in Clifton, Texas, on May 27, 1960 to William F. Davis and Bessie Lea Davis of Crawford, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Pat Davis and Donnie Davis. She is survived by her husband Pete McGrath, daughters Laura McGrath of Red Oak, TX and Carrie LuJan and husband Andre of Whitney, TX, and son Joey McGrath and wife Daisy of Waxahachie, TX, her brothers Mike Davis and wife Pam of Crawford, TX, William Davis and wife Deborah of Crawford, TX, David Davis and wife Melissa of Moody, TX, sister Kathy Laufenberg and husband John of Crawford, TX, and six grandchildren, Van, Ari, Archer, Zoey, Ivey, and Ace.
Wanda grew up in Crawford, TX riding horses and winning rodeo events on her horse Sundown. She married her husband Pete of 35 years and devoted her life to her family and serving her Lord and Savior. She was kind and generous, loved bringing people together and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved learning about the Bible, dancing at her congregation, telling others about Jesus, and caring so deeply for those around her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend.

Although she was taken too soon, she is undoubtedly rejoicing in heaven with her parents, brothers and her Lord. She will be greatly missed by many.

The family would like to thank those who helped support and care for the family during Wanda’s final days.

A celebration of Wanda’s life will be held at a future date.
