Wanda West

Wanda West, 71, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in Hillsboro. Wanda was born September 22, 1937 in Hillsboro the daughter of Albert Colquitt and Faye Bell Hamilton Woodin. On December 3, 1962 she married William Thomas West and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1987. Her favorite past times were watching television, listening to music, and visiting with friends. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Kenneth Lee Pricer; four brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include four children, Johnny Ray Pricer of Whitney, Edward West of Hillsboro, Tommy West of Whitney, and Betty Gilley of Hillsboro; brother, Jimmy Woodin of Boyd; four sisters, Dorothy Gilley of Milford, Linda Best of Waco, and Pam Kier and Kathy Basil both of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren, Darci West of Rochester, NY, Staci Marsh of Lemoore, CA Naval Air Station, Victoria Pricer of West, and Jarrett Ponder, Joshua Ponder, Tommy West, II, and Deandra West all of Whitney; and two great-grandchildren, William Marsh of Lemoore, CA Naval Air Station and Ryan Ponder of Whitney.
