Wayne Schronk, 69, of Bynum, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at his residence. Wayne was born September 5, 1936 in Bynum the son of Luther and Mary Toliver Schronk. He went to grade school in Bynum and graduated from Abbott High School. He lived most of his life in Bynum. On January 25, 1958 he married Verree Vaughan in Whitney. A charter member of the Bynum Young Farmers Chapter, he was also past president of Woodmen of The World Lodge #658, a Mr. Woodmen award holder, past officer in the Hill County Farm Bureau, and had previously served on the Board of Directors for Production Credit and the Bynum Sewer Association. Wayne loved farming, bird hunting, fishing, and cooking and eating good barbecue. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bynum. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife, Verree Schronk of Bynum; children, Wayne Schronk, Jr. and Lori Schronk of Bynum; brother, Ralph Schronk and wife, Odessa, of Hillsboro; sister, Patsy Cooper and husband, Sam, of Combine; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Memorials may be made to one?s charity of choice in memory of Wayne Schronk.
