Wayne Thomas Whitworth

Wayne Thomas Whitworth, 74, of Hillsboro went to be with the lord on March 12, 2022, in Temple, Texas.  The family will hold a memorial service later.

Wayne was born in Decatur, Texas, to William Thomas and Minnie Violet (Shelton) Whitworth, on December 19, 1947.  He served in the United States Army from 1968-1974 during the Vietnam War.  He was united in marriage to Donna Whitworth on November 5, 1982.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Paula Whitworth, and Deborah Sansing.  Wayne is survived by his wife of forty years, Donna Whitworth; his son, Dwayne Cota; his brothers, Glenn Whitworth, Robert Whitworth, Martin Whitworth, and Tim Whitworth; his siters, Elaine Deibler, Cindy Anderson, Nina Lippe, and Teresa Monahan; three grandchildren, Jacob Cota, Maegan Cota, and Zachary Cota; and four great-grandchildren.
