Welma Mcgirk

Mrs. McGirk was the daughter of Joseph Oscar and Levia Rayburn Heath. She grew up in East Texas and Oklahoma. Welma and Dwight McGirk were married on September 7, 1935 and they moved to Hillsboro in 1960. For several years, she worked at the school cafeteria as a cook. Her husband preceded her in death on July 22, 1975, and she was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Mrs. McGirk was survived by two children: Richard McGirk and wife, Sue of Pearland; Paula Pratola and husband, Patrick of Newark, Delaware; a sister, Juanita Phillipy of Lima, Indiana; grandchildren- Brian McGirk, Allison Krogness, Tony Pratola, and Daniel Pratola.
