Wendy Clark

Wendy B. Clark, age 67, of Whitney, passed away December 3, 2011 at Rockwall Health Presbyterian in Rockwall, TX. Services will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney, TX. with Rev Eddie Booth officiating. Burial will follow at Whitney Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, TX.

She was born April 17, 1944 in Bristol, England to James Monroe and Barbara Gladys (Wright) Barron. Wendy graduated from Marlin High School in 1962. Wendy worked as a sales associate for 21-1/2 years at Wal-Mart in Bellmead, TX. retiring in March of 2010. She enjoyed and loved being around and spending time with her grandchildren very much. She touched the lives of every person she met. Wendy enjoyed playing bingo, gambling and was an avid traveler. Her choice of faith was Baptist.

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Nolan Clark on March 3, 1987 and granddaughter Jordan Kelley on March 21, 2001.

Wendy is survived by daughters: Barbara Renee Adams of Whitney, Melissa Anne Isham and husband, Terry Degerstedt of Rowlett, TX. and Stephanie Lynn Kelley and husband, Brent of Abilene, TX; sisters: Carol York and husband, John of Whitney; Sue Farmer of Houston, TX; Betty Smith and husband, Jim Remick of Sanger, TX; Janie Edwards and husband, Raymond Robles of Marlin, TX; Debbie Pecina and husband, Robert of Marlin, TX; and Mary Jo Wilson of Orange, TX; 9 grandchildren: Devon Dubberley of Pulaski, TN; Tyler Dubberley of Pulaski, TN; Justin Adams of Whitney; Bryce Degerstedt of Waco, TX; Ty Degerstedt of Rowlett, TX; JEM Isham of Rowlett, TX; Nolan Degerstedt of Rowlett, TX; Samantha Degerstedt of Rowlett, TX; and Meghan Kelley of Abilene, TX.
