William Theodore Buchholz

William Theodore Buchholz, 84, of Kopperl, passed away on April 14, 2020, at his residence.   No services are scheduled at this time.

William was born on March 26, 1936, in Mena, Arkansas, to Fred and Christine (McCombs) Buchholz.   He later moved to Garland, Texas where he attended high school.   In 1953, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served for 20 years.   After retirement from the Marine Corps, he served another 20 years at the Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA.   Upon retirement from the shipyard, he moved back to Texas.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Christine and his father, Fred; his brothers, Robert, Don and Fred; and his sisters, Gwen and Evelyn.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Marilyn Ruth Buchholz; his daughter, Sandra Lynn Buchholz; his son and daughter-in-law, Wesley Alan and July Row Buchholz; his granddaughter, Audrey Marilyn Niederlitz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
