William Goff

William Michael Mickey Goff, 62, of Brandon died Sunday, March 14, 2010, in a Fort Worth hospital. Mickey was born August 9, 1947 in Hillsboro the son of W. C. and Marie Thorton Goff. He was a lifelong resident of Hillsboro. During the Viet Nam War, he served his country in the United States Air Force. On January 19, 1968 he married Loretta Carter. For 30 years he was self-employed as a plumber. He was a member of Lakenon Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Goff of Brandon; step-mother, Margorie Jean Goff of Woodbury; children, Gerald Goff and wife, Jamie of Hillsboro, and Stacie Berry and husband, Bo, of Killeen; brother, Jerry Goff and wife, Jeannie, of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Larissa, Cody, and Justin Berry; and two nephews and a niece. Memorials may be made to the Mickey Goff Memorial Fund at Citizens National Bank in Hillsboro.
