William Lewis, Ii

William Billy Lawrence Lewis, II, 67, of Hillsboro died Monday, May 18, 2009, at Providence Health Care Center in Waco. Billy was born October 14, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Jimmy and Jane Branon Lewis. On October 14, 2000 he married Gerlinde Hermannski in Fredericksburg. He was a registered financial advisor. He was a bluegrass musician and played the banjo and guitar. Fishing, shooting pool, shooting his gun, and target shooting were some of his favorite pastimes. He loved playing tennis and was of the Catholic faith. Preceding him in death were his parents; first wife, Merrily St. Romain Lewis. Survivors include his wife, Gerlinde Lewis of Hillsboro; children, William L. Lewis, III and wife, Belen, of Plano, Thomas Bret Lewis of Rockwall, and Michelle Gray and husband, Chad, of Hillsboro; and six grandchildren, Anthony Lawrence Lewis of Plano, Janie and Caroline Lewis both of Rockwall, Lexie and Macie Gray both of Hillsboro, and Odalis Apolinar of Plano.
