William Jones

William Weldon 'Bill' Jones, Jr., 84, passed away May 14, 2025, at his home in Whitney, Texas, after a short battle with cancer. Bill was born November 28, 1940, to William Weldon 'Chicken' Jones and Sammie Copeland Jones.

Bill is survived by his wife, soul mate and best friend of sixty-four years, Rebecca 'Becky' (Fowler) Jones, son Thomas Weldon Jones and wife Imelda, daughter Anna Laura Breazeale and husband Wes, grandchildren John Timothy Floyd, Jr., Thomas Weldon Jones, Jr., Michael William Floyd, Tawnia Leigh Jones, Dustin Breazeale, Jeffrey Breazeale, Skyler Breazeale and ten great-grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his brother James Fletcher and wife Dawn, sister-in-law Vickie Henry and husband Jim, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no local services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations honoring Bill to be made to the Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department.
