William "Bill" Howard Marshall

William (Bill) Howard Marshall 94, of Hillsboro passed away on Saturday, January 22,2022 in Hillsboro. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Bethlehem Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney prior to the service.

Bill was born in Wilbarger County on November 27,1927 to Francis Earl and Chessie Elenora (Humphries) Marshall. He left school at an early age to go to work. He worked in the concrete business, farmed and worked as a grave digger for the city of Cleburne for over 20 years. He married Pauline Guthrie in the late 1970’s she preceded him in death.

Bill loved to work in the garden and dearly loved his grandchildren.
