Willie Miller

Willie Ruth Miller, 81, of Whitney died Monday, September 10, 2007, at Meridian Manor in Meridian. Willie Ruth was born June 3, 1926 in Hillsboro the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Alma Lena Williams Curbo. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. On December 10, 1946 she married Ovie ?Hack? Miller and he preceded her in death on January 7, 1992. For 28 years she owned and operated Country Beauty Shop. She was a member of Woodbury Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a grandson, Mike Garner. Survivors include her children, Ovie Miller and wife, Lana, of Whitney and Judy Garner and husband, Howard, of Iredell; grandchildren, Cody Miller and wife, Laura, Dustin Miller and wife, Tausha, Stephanie Ownbey and husband, Jason, and Marla Guinn and husband, Eddie; great-grandchildren, Payton and Sawyer Ownbey, Chance and Dalton Guinn, and Wade and Chelsea Garner; and a great-great grandson, James Michael Guinn.
