Willis Jordon

Willis “Scott” Jordon, 53, of Hillsboro, TX passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017, at St. Mercy St Charles Hospital in Oregon, OH. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday October 9, 2017, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Chris Sutton officiating. Burial will follow at Younger Cemetery in Purdon, TX. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the funeral home

Willis was born on December 26, 1963, to Willis Henry and Shirley Scott (Burks) Jordon. He grew up in Hill County and graduated from Covington High School. From there he worked as a mechanic for many years. Then he became a truck driver and started working for the Smokey Point Distributing Inc. in September of 2013, a company he really liked working for.

Preceding him in death were mother-Shirley Jordon, brother-Russell Jordon, Sister-Jelina Carlisle, and daughter-Heather Jordon.

Survivors included his father, Henry Jordon of Hillsboro; two children, Brenda and husband Michael Losey, and Rebecca Jordon, all of Hillsboro; grandson, Evan Losey, and many nieces and nephews.
