Willis Kennedy

Frank was the son of John Ernest and Myrtle Price Kennedy. He served in the Army during WWII. Frank spent most of his life in Big Spring where he worked thirty years for Cosden Chemical & Oil. He married Vivian Atkins on June 26, 1972 and they moved to Whitney in 1983 where he was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Miller, a brother, Ernest Wayne Kennedy and a step-son, Bobby Bateman. Surviving are his wife, Vivian Kennedy of Whitney; a daughter Sue Mayfield and husband, Mike of Covington, a son, Elmer Sorrells and wife, Helen of Hope, Arkansas. Two step-daughters, Sharon Ressler of Lubbock and Fay Farris and husband Rex of Shallowater, Tx. a brother, Rex Kennedy and wife Joyce of Bandera, Tx., sister, Betty Ann Cox and husband Jerold of Big Spring, Tx. Ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren
