Yvonne Irvin Lawrence

Yvonne Lawrence, age 85, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020, in Dallas. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. Tommy Prud'homme officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to service time.

Yvonne was born November 7, 1934, in Hillsboro, Texas the daughter of Walker Mitchell and Dulcie (Aldridge) Irvin. She was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church of Dallas. Yvonne always spoke her mind and was a very caring person who had a spirit of fun about her. She was conscientious about her work as an x-ray technician for a doctor whose patients included the original Dallas Cowboys.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Mikiel Lawrence; brothers, W. M., Ross, and Frank; sisters, Montrue, Doty, Marie, Ann, and Edna.

She is survived by her sister, Dell Irvin; sister in law, Joyce Ann Irvin; granddaughter, Lauren Lawrence McGrain and husband, Kyle; soon to be great grandson, Michael David, and numerous nieces and nephews.
